How to Improve your blogging!

Well, if you have noticed recently, I have kept a new widget on my blog that shows me where all my visitors come from. This is an awesome widget as I think it is really motivational. I get really motivated when I see people from all around the world coming to my blog and visiting it. So here is my blog tip number 2. For all the newbie’s out there, if you really want to work on your blog, keep something on it that keeps you motivated. In this way, you get motivated to keep going on the blog and checking it out. I have two digets on my blog that really motivates me and only one of them is the visitor map, the other one that I have is the visitor number count. It really motivates me to come back everyday to the blog and see how many people come everyday to view my blog. Initially there were like only a few people coming to my blog everyday, but now as time goes, the visitor count has gone up and up and it really inspires me to keep writing, after seeing the visitor count go higher and higher.
Well, so the whole point of this means is that you have to motivate yourself to keep going. Just like working out, you always have to have some one on your side, watching you and motivating you to keep going.
Well on another side, to have something good, you always have to give out also. So another thing that really helps bloggers is comments. To get some comments, you have to leave some comments on other people’s blogs, and then people will get to know you and then naturally they will come to your blog and then they will leave you a comment also. Positive comments really help and then after a while, if your blog grows quite big and popular, you will start receiving negative comments as well. Don’t take this as discouragingly, with negative comments, it only means that your pissing someone off, so that means your blog is doing something wrong. So if you get negative comments, then change your blog after that! So, remember, any negative comments, and you will change your blog, and then improvements happen!
So, do all that I told you, and then improve your blog!!

INTI's sub-par internet connection and my TIP!

Wow, its been some time now that I have ignored this blog. The last time that I was here was like 3 days ago! What does this all imply? Is it because I am losing interest in this blog? No!! I love blogging and since I am here giving out quizzes and jokes to everyone, I am the bringer of happiness to everyone that read my blog. So how can I just leave my blog there and not care about it? So if you really want to know, here is the main reason why I haven’t been posting up anything new is because the internet here in INTI hostel is really horrible! The internet service provider here in INTI is Extreme something, I just know that the short form for it is EBB. And seriously, it is crap! I really wonder why the INTI management continues to use them as their sole service provider, I mean after all these years that students have been complaining that the internet slow, the INTI management body still decides to keep it. Come on INTI, its time that you try something new and improve the internet welfare of the students, fast internet speed can help students study better also, so if anyone knows anyone in the management, please, file in a report of something!!
Sometimes I wonder if INTI keeps the internet so damn slow just to make the students move out to Desa Palma to live! By keeping the internet slow, students are forced to move out if they want anything faster than a snail speed for downloading! Maybe this is true!!
Well, I’m just going to drop some knowledge quick so not to bore you. I’m going to teach you how to have quality content on your blog! I have been through a lot of my friend’s and classmates blogs and to be honest, not a lot of them has anything thing that is quite worthy of the reader’s time. The number one reason for that is their respect towards the art of blogging. Blogging is a pleasure, blogging is an art. Successful bloggers will know that to have a successful blog, they must treat each post as a treasure. I am nowhere near a pro-blogger, but I know that each post is very important. I read my own posts 3 times before letting a friend read it, and after it has past all inspection checks, checks for grammar and spelling mistakes, I will copy it into MS Word and do another check. Then I will only post in my blog. Doing this allows me to check for any mistakes before publishing my post and saves me the embarrassment of allowing users to read my mistakes. I learnt this the hard way, and now I always check for any mistakes before posting anything. That’s one point for everyone today, there will be another point in my next blabble! So don’t forget, reread your post before you post it and always use proper English grammar and spellings.

Wow, look how time passes! It’s been such a long ass time since all the assignments and stuff were given out, and look at me, I still don’t have a group to be working with. Don’t criticize me, its not that I’m anti-social or something, but I just don’t think I can find anyone that will be willing to work with me. So..I guess I will just sit it out and wait until I am approached by someone. Hope that one day will come in the future.

So, any news updates? Well, today I went and attended the DAC (Dance Academic Club) gathering night, and my my, I have to say that it was really amazing, and that I really wasn’t expecting anything like that. The whole event was just amazing. The shows, the beautiful ladies there, damn. It was a great get together, there were shows from the bboy crew, then from the cheerleaders of INTI, and then the organizer also gave a piece, amazing, and to top all that, everyone in the DAC seemed to be friendly and really easy to get along, in other words I was really comfortable staying around them. I don’t dance, and havnt danced almost any time in my life, but everybody in the DAC were so cool, that I actually did some moves! Lol. Here is a pic of the beginning and another picture of the ending. In between that, I was too busy having fun to be shooting pictures of anything, although I do regret not getting the numbers of some the girls over there. LMAO
Well, there is something wrong with the blooger facility of uploading pictures, so I guess I will just uploda them up later then. Ayt, tc.

The scene is set in a dark pit of a burned out building. Batman and Commissioner Gordon are standing over Bill Gates' body.

Gordon: "He won... Gates' revolutions to the operating system world, everything he fought for... undone. Whatever chance Microsoft hadof fixing itself... Dies with Windows' reputation. Everyone will lose hope."

Batman: "No. They won't. They can never know what Vista did."

Gordon: "Four versions of Windows? Three of them over $200? We can't sweep that under the rug."

Batman: "No. But Vista cannot win... Microsoft needs its true hero."

Gordon: "Y... You? You can't!"

Batman: "Yes I can. You either die in development, or you live long enough to be cut from company support. I can do those things."

Gordon: "You can't! You're not-"

Batman: "I'm whatever computing needs me to be."

Police alarms become louder as they get closer. Batman jumps onto the Batpod and drives off into the night.
Gordon's son: "Why is he running, dad?"

Gordon: "Because we have to chase him."

Gordon's son: "But he didn't do anything wrong..."

Gordon: "No. Because he's a hero. The hero Microsoft deserves, but not the one it needs right now. So we'll flame him in blogs... Because he can take it. Because he's not our hero. He's a silent beta. A watchful future prospect. Windows 7."

Hey!! The time now is 10:21 am, and I am in my class now, listening to the lecturer talk about something that is at least 2+ weeks old. So I am not listening and hence typing this blog post using the nice computer in the multimedia lab. Don’t blame me for using public sevice for private purposes!LOL.
So, whats new? I know it sounds stupid but seriously, come on, I have been almost hibernating in my room now, and havnt been out with friends for almost a week now. Some one, please kill me! Im turning anti-social now! What I know now for sure is that I really have to study hard to catch up with all the school work that I have been missing out, due to only one reason that is known to man hood, laziness. Don’t laugh at me, I bet I am not the only one out here who has been lazy, you must have been lazy at least once in your life, right? Its just that I am lazy more often than you are. So quit hating me!
How is everyone doing? It was a hectic week for everyone, you know, for new year and stuff. Lots of family business and stuff, everyone must be tired as hell. But you will also have to know that school has started and that all the partying and stuff should come to a stop now.
Im getting bored now, so im going to go and get some sleep while the lecturer is still talking about something that I know. Well, let me know how your holidays were and once again, wish you get back into study mode asap!!

Well, time does fly, doesn’t it? Looking on the calendar, today is already the 31st, that is 5 days past new year! And what have I done in these 5 days after new year? To be honest, I have no idea what I have done. The time really passed very quickly, it seems only like yesterday that I was at my friends place making dumplings to be eaten on the new year’s eve. Damn, time really does pass quickly.

Enough about how time really passes quick, here is something else, I have just come up with an idea of writing about everything in my room, such as writing a post about my laptop, a post about my phone, a post about….well, mostly about anything else that is here presently in my room. In this way, I have a lot to write about, and the other thing is that I can share information about the things that I have, and maybe help some one else on the way who has the same stuff as I do. I think this idea is going to be awesome, so I really think I will dedicate my self to this. Leave me your ideas if you have any. I really look forward to how the general public will react to this crazy idea.

Going back to the post that started the competition about the coolest room vs. messiest room, I have yet to get any pictures or anything. Well, that is just too bad, I thought that it was a good idea, but now it seems like it isn’t. So I’m not going to close the thing, but then just give it an eternal validity period until I think it really should be closed. Sigh…thanks for the support people(sarcastically)!!

ANYWAY, there hasn’t been any feedback from anyone on the way that this blog has been running, well, there isn’t much support for me, I guess. Then I will just have to go the way I think is right, so please keep coming back and enjoying the quizzes and jokes that I post up everyday!

Coolest Dorm Rooms VS Messiest Dorm Rooms

Today I plan to initiate a competition, purely self inspired, or maybe not. There may be some competitions like this before, or it can still be going around for all I know. But here it is, I here forth initiate a competition that will pick out the coolest dorm room as well as the messiest dorm room. This competition is open to all students in my class as well as open to all students currently enrolled in a course in INTI- University College, Nilai Campus.

Here is how this competition will work, snap a picture of your room when it is spotlessly clean, or snap a picture of it when you haven’t cleaned it for 2-3 weeks. And then, if you have a blog, all you have to do is to write a post about this competition, with a link back to this original post, and then post a picture of your room on it. And then you post the link to your post in the comments section.

As for the judging, it will be done by me and my friend. And for the winners, we will have a small gift.

Now look here, this may sound so damn stupid, but hell, we are all university students now, that means we are still teenagers, and that means, we have fun! Don’t stay away from this, if you have a grudge or something against me, put that aside, this is a chance for you to see how creative or how messy your friends maybe, so come on people and join me in this competition!

Nine Months Later

Jack decided to go skiing with his buddy, Bob. They loaded up Jack's mini van and headed north. After driving for a few hours, they got caught in a terrible blizzard. They pulled into a nearby farm and asked the attractive lady who answered the door if they could spend the night. "I realize it's terrible weather out there and I have this huge house all to myself, but I'm recently "widowed," she explained. "I'm afraid the neighbors will talk if I let you stay in my house." "Don't worry," Jack said. "We'll be happy to sleep in the barn. And if the weather breaks, we'll be gone at first light" The lady agreed, and the two men found their way to the barn and settled in for the night. Come morning, the weather had cleared, and they got on their way. They enjoyed a great weekend of skiing. About nine months later, Jack got an unexpected letter from an attorney. It took him a few minutes to figure it out, but he finally determined that it was from the attorney of that attractive widow he had met on the ski weekend. He dropped in on his friend Bob and asked, "Bob, do you remember that good-looking widow from the farm we stayed at on our ski holiday up North?" "Yes, I do. " "Did you happen to get up in the middle of the night, go up to the house and pay her a visit?" "Yes," Bob said, a little embarrassed about being found out. "I have to admit that I did." Chinese New Year Holidays!!

Ok, guess what, it’s the 24th of January already, 2 days before the Chinese new year officially kicks in. The good thing is, our university has already started the new year holidays, which will last until the 2nd of February. Now that is really nice of the management!! LOL. Now comes the bad part, due to the length of the holidays, almost all the Asian students have either gone back to their home towns or back to China. So there is practically no one here on campus. The international students residing here have all planned trips and outings and stuff, so its just poor me and my trustworthy laptop for the whole week. ..sigh..

Well, since I have such a long time to do nothing, I thought why not do something useful, so now I have decided to sleep!! Or better, to hibernate, and wake up in a weeks time to go to class!

That was a joke, here are just some of the things that I think I would do.

1. Devote more time to this blog, look around the internet to look for more freebies that I can integrate into my blog, to make it look better, and more interactive for the readers.

2. Start on the assignments given out by all the teachers and lecturers. And to all my classmates that are reading this, please leave me a comment on what exactly are the assignments that we have to start on. I know about the web building one, u need a group to do that( anyone interested in taking me into a group?). I know about the research we have to do about RAM(yes, you read it right, we have to do a research on RAM!! I mean who does a research on RAM? Some IT geek, I guess!!). And that’s all the stuff I know at the moment that needs my attention. Please leave me a comment if I have left out something!!

3.Play more basketball, and join the gym! I have been putting the second part on hold for an entire week now. Reason? Well I was just too lazy to go all the way up there and pay and do all the stuff.
LOL

Well, that’s how I plan to spend my 1-week new year’s holiday, if you have any parties or anything, feel free to call me, then I can be present and accounted for!!

To all the Asian’s out there celebrating Chinese New Year, I take this chance to wish everyone that the coming year will be a prosperous one, and may all the kids get good grades in school, and may all the adults have ever lasting health and fortune, and most of all, staying happy all year long!!

Well, I can’t really believe how fast time flies by, it seemed only like minutes ago that I created this blog, and now when I come back to update it, I check the dates and stuff and realize that it has already been ages, since I came here to update this.

Well, enough with all the nonsense and stuff, here comes the real content of the blog. I have decided to post up at least 2 jokes a day( for the entertainment of the readers that actually do come here to check it out), and then I will post up another 2 posts containing something useful like some news or just some other thing that had caught my attention earlier. So that basically summarizes what I will be posting up in the near future, so all you readers out there can also know what to be expecting from this blog. But, be prepared to be shocked and awed when you do read my blog, because the content will really blow your mind away(literally)!!Lol

First Post, First Impressions

Finally, after missing classes for 2 weeks straight, I finally got to know what my assignment is supposed to be. We were supposed to create a blog on blogger.com and we were supposed to maintain it for some time for our lecturer to check on and stuff.

So here I am, creating a blog using blogger.com. This isn’t my first attempt at blogging, and is definitely not my first time blogging on blogspot.com. I have also used wordpress to blog, and to be honest, I prefer wordpress much more, as it is more user-friendly and much more fun to work with.

Well, keeping all that stuff away, lets get to the main point here, this was my assignment quoted word for word from my lecturer’s notes,’

“ Make use of the online facility (http://www.blogger.com) to create a blog with a suitable name.”

There you go, that was my assignment, and here I am typing away on my laptop at 8 in the morning, 2 hours before I go off to class. LOL.

Well, I have been awake the whole night and I had been thinking what I would focus on in this blog, but I couldn’t think of anything that would keep me interested enough to be blabbing about it for 6 weeks! That’s when I decided that this blog will be like an online portal for me to express my thoughts and feelings on anything that I want. I will not specify the exact topics so that leaves me with a lot of options, allowing me the freedom to talk about anything that I want, in what ever way I want.

So, that’s all about the blog, onto a little personal information, I am still a student( like I had to mention that!!!) currently continuing my studies in INTI-UC Malaysia, and I’m a guy. That’s all I can say about myself, if you want to find out more about me, you can check out my profile page.

P.S. The lecturer did state that we were supposed to update our blog weekly, but I don’t think I will stick to that. I will be aiming to update this blog daily, with at least 2-3 posts a day. Awesome, isn’t it?
